A Word on Preaching

The most important part of our Youth Ministry has to be the Preaching and Teaching of God’s Word. We are not an entertainment-driven Youth Ministry, but a Word driven Youth Ministry. Our goal is to help parents disciple their teens to live for Christ and the best way to do that is by using the Word of God. 

Your teen will sit under preaching and teaching that will take them through the whole Bible from 7th grade until they graduate as a senior. Not only do we walk them through the Bible, but we also spend quality time focusing on other topics such as Evangelism, Missions, Christian Living, Sanctification, Salvation, Discipleship, Leadership, and much more. Our desire is to expose these teens to as much of God’s Word as we can.

Every avenue of our Youth ministry is based on the preaching of God’s Word. Our Wednesday night teen meetings have a Christian Living message followed by small groups. In Sunday school the teens sit under sound teaching from God’s Word on many of the major doctrines of the Bible. Finally, God’s Word is shared at every activity whether it be  evangelistic or simply a teen SNAC.God’s Word is our priority!

We don’t just expect the young people to be listening to sound preaching but we also encourage them to live it out. The Bible tells us to be, “doers of the Word and not hearers only.” We strive to point these teens to Christ in every aspect of their lives and we use God’s Word to do that.
